MEET THE TEAM // ROOS

Hi, I'm Roos. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in business administration in Groningen last July. Now I live in Amsterdam for my graduation internship.

What I like the most about LELY? The lemonades are my absolute favorite! I also love the relaxed and cozy atmosphere where everyone is welcome.

When I'm not working at LELY I love cycling through Amsterdam, playing tennis, going to my family and relatives in Friesland, having a drink with friends, reading, and chilling.

MEET THE TEAM // SANNE

Hi, I'm Sanne! I've started working at LELY since the beginning of September. And at that time, I also started Culinary school.
What I like the most about LELY is that it's aimed towards being the living-room of the neighborhood while at the same time having a creative and innovative menu. This brings a lot of different people towards LELY.
I love to learn new things here, like opening oysters, making a beurre noisette, or fermenting vegetables. When I'm not working, I love reading about food, watching videos about food, and cooking food. Oh, and eating it too 😉.

Sunday Roast & Live music between 16h and 18h on the 23rd of August. (reservation only for the Sunday Roast)

Live Music from Anna Sollewijn Gelpke (vocals) and Ike van Bergen (keys). Two students from the Conservatory of Amsterdam will play together as a duo, inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Esperanza Spalding and Lauryn Hill.

This duo plays Jazz standards with a personal touch, as well as Soul, Pop, RnB and Fusion.

MEET THE TEAM // NARIMAN

Hi! My name is Nariman and I started working at LELY in February. Unfortunately, the lockdown happened soon after, so I have been working regularly since the beginning of June.

The thing I like the most about LELY is how it feels like home. It doesn't matter if you want to study, have some drinks, work for a little or just need a break from your daily routine: LELY is the place to be. Besides this, the team is also great. Since day one, I felt like I was included in the group and how everyone accepted you with open arms. For me, those aspects are the most important things and create how I love to go to work every day and want to go there in my spare time to relax.

I love how everything is possible at LELY, whether if you’re working, enjoying drinks, having dinner, or just need a moment of peace. I really enjoy the different people coming in, and how they also express how welcome they feel and the little talks you can have with them.
